Deciding to forego university, Anna-Marie jetted around Europe, working in Milan, Paris, Madrid, and London, as well as Australia. But it was in Miami that she was discovered by Play..boy. The search was on for models to pose in the 40th anniversary issue, as well as a pictorial on models based in trendy South Beach. a goddess in disguise An editor found a composite of Anna-Marie and proceeded to track her down. While flattered at first, Anna-Marie had vowed to remain a fashion model and had dismissed the idea of doing nude work. A few weeks later, the magazine called Anna-Marie in Australia to see if she wanted to reconsider. After talking it over with her trusted circle of loved ones, she decided to take the plunge.
